Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Scanning Technician to join our team at Structural Repairs Limited. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to establish property boundaries, measuring distances and angles using specialized equipment, and preparing proposals, survey reports, maps, and drawings based on collected data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough surveys to determine property boundaries, topographical features, and other relevant information.
  • Utilize GPS technology and computer-aided design (CAD) software to assist in surveying tasks.
  • Analyze survey data to determine land elevations, contours, and other topographical features.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to provide accurate survey information for project planning and design.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards during survey operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar role.
  • Experience in using surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze survey data accurately.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for drafting and mapping purposes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
