Our culinary team at The Ned is dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in leading a section in one of our kitchens, serving up amazing food to our members, guests, and customers.



The Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:




  • Preparing and serving our restaurant menus to high standards
  • Creating dishes that look and taste amazing, following Ned standards
  • Tackling any glitches or issues head on, prioritizing the guest experience every time
  • Working alongside other chefs, runners, and management teams to deliver seamless and smooth experiences to every guest
  • Maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment, protecting our guests and your teammates from any possible harm
  • Supporting the next team of chefs by helping to prep for the next service


You may also be required to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. We will always try to accommodate your preferred shift patterns, but as always in hospitality, a degree of flexibility is required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Previous experience on the line in an operational kitchen
  • Any specialist knowledge of cooking techniques or cuisine types may be advantageous
  • A calm demeanour and a genuine passion for providing guests with exceptional food is essential
  • A creative flair is always welcome, our menus change seasonally, and you may be offered the opportunity to assist your Head Chef in menu creation
