Role Description:

Our graduate GROW programme is a structured 3-year development programme designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. You'll benefit from training and development, mentoring, and assistance for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the support and guidance you need to develop and succeed.

As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW, you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants, you'll be responsible for your own deliverables, liaising with clients, and given every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise. You'll work on a range of environmental and planning projects which may include major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and community-focused projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of air quality assessments across multiple sectors, including highways and rail, energy, industrial, and regeneration/master planning/mixed-use projects.
  • Undertake site work to install and collect air quality monitoring equipment, interrogate air quality monitoring data, and undertake air quality modelling using a range of predictive models.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to provide technical expertise and influence project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduating in or having recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrating typical Arcadian skills, including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and being a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to use technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Will to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible, we embrace virtual working).
  • Hold a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK.
  • Comfortable with site-based working, when required for projects.
