Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Manager Research Analyst to join our team at Artian Investments Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on private equity fund managers, identifying potential investment opportunities, and providing recommendations to the Investment Committee.
Main Responsibilities:
- Idea Generation and Research: Identify, research, and recommend private equity managers in assigned areas of coverage.
- Monitor Performance: Prepare and present quarterly performance reports, monitor and assess managers' performance, and produce attribution analysis.
- Due Diligence: Participate in fund manager due diligence, conduct operational due diligence reviews, and provide detailed reviews of Datarooms.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present reports to the Investment Committee, and collaborate with other team members to enhance the team's idea generation and evaluation processes.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree level educated in finance or economics, with a postgraduate qualification or professional accreditation an advantage.
- Experience: Significant experience in fund manager research, preferably in private and public equities, with a minimum of 3-5 years at an investment house, family office, or consultancy.
Technical Expertise:
- Investment Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of investment strategies, capital markets, and fund manager universes.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent written and analytical skills, with the ability to produce clear and articulate investment recommendations.
