Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a compassionate and nurturing teaching assistant to provide support to primary students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a friendly and inclusive Two Form Entry Primary Academy.

About the Role:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN in Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist students with daily tasks and activities, promoting independence and confidence
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment

About the School:

  • A welcoming and inclusive Primary Academy with a strong focus on student well-being
  • Part of a Multi Academy Trust with a supportive Senior Leadership Team and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCO)
  • Rated 'Good' by Ofsted

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN in a school environment
  • Teaching Assistant qualifications or a relevant degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
