Camp Manager Role Overview

Camp Beaumont is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Manager to lead our multi-activity day camps for children aged 3-14 during school holidays. As a Camp Manager, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting our team to deliver exceptional day camp programs and ensuring the well-being of all our young camp members.

About the Role:

As a Camp Manager, you will have overall responsibility for a camp site, overseeing the daily operations, staff management, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers. You will be the person that everyone at camp looks to for motivation, support, and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality day camp programs
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of all campers and staff
  • Oversee the daily operations of the camp site, including logistics and administration
  • Develop and implement programs to engage and motivate campers
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless camp experience

About You:

We are looking for a candidate who has:

Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a teamExcellent communication and leadership skillsA passion for working with children and delivering high-quality programsA high level of safeguarding awareness and knowledge of child protection policiesA Level 3 qualification in Childcare (early years, QTS/PGCE) or studying towards a relevant childcare qualification
