Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter (Nights)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our team at one of our leading automated factories. As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery, assisting with planned shutdowns and project work, and refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Assist with planned shutdowns and project work, including refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.
  • Deal with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns, and complete preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery.
  • Complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company.

Requirements:

  • Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
  • Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery.
  • Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company.

Working Hours: Nights - 9pm to 7am, Monday to Thursday

Salary: £44,000 to £48,000 per annum + overtime paid at x1.0 + benefits and opportunities to progress up through their salary grades and receive enhancements
