Job Summary

The Power Distribution & Controls Engineering Leader is a critical role within GE Aviation, responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of Power Distribution and Controls products. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Safety Culture

Ensure a culture of safety excellence within the engineering team, prioritizing employee safety and product safety above all else.

Direct the Engineering Function

Provide executive leadership to a global engineering team, driving the development of Power Distribution and Controls products.

Site Strategy Execution

As part of the Cheltenham Senior Leadership Team, contribute to the site strategy execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Engineering Headcount Planning

Responsible for Electric Power Engineering (EPE) UK engineering headcount planning and management of the UK engineer labour rate.

Operational Excellence

Demonstrate engineering and operational excellence, driving cycle time efficiencies into development teams.

Culture of Engagement

Establish a culture of engagement, inclusiveness, and excellence, inspiring and connecting with the team to create a shared sense of belonging and commitment to the work.

Performance Management

Qualifications
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
