LAC Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to work with children who require additional support in a one-to-one setting. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing educational sessions to children in their homes or a local area, such as a library.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young people, and be able to plan and deliver engaging sessions that cater to the individual needs of each child. You will also be responsible for managing and implementing different behaviour strategies, and checking that pupils are on track to achieve their desired learning outcomes.

• Plan and deliver educational sessions to children in a one-to-one setting
• Work with children who have additional needs or are looked after
• Manage and implement different behaviour strategies
• Check that pupils are on track to achieve their desired learning outcomes
• Provide feedback and assessments to parents and carers

• Experience working with children or young people
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions
• Knowledge of SEN and behaviour management strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A dedicated consultant to discuss current or future roles with you
