Special Educational Needs Assistant

A school in Slough is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Assistant to provide support to children with learning difficulties.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs.

As a Special Educational Needs Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support to children with a range of needs, including Autism, OCD, Asperger's, and dyslexia.

Your day-to-day duties will involve providing support to children in the classroom, helping them to manage and cope with their school work, and assisting the class teacher with lesson planning and preparation.

The successful candidate will be an individual who is committed to providing high-quality support to children with special needs and is passionate about making a difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to children with special needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children with special needs

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
