We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer. As a Befriender, you will play a vital role in providing companionship to someone we support in Sittingbourne, visiting them in their home and engaging in activities they enjoy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emotional support and companionship to our service user
- Visit our service user in their home on a regular basis
- Engage in activities that bring joy and fulfillment to our service user, such as chatting, reading, arts and crafts, or playing board games
- Be punctual and reliable in your visits
- Respect confidentiality and data protection procedures
- Be kind, empathetic, and friendly
- Have a good sense of humour and be a good listener
- Be able to deal with information in line with our data protection and confidentiality procedures
- Be over the age of 18
