About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Engineer to join our team at Hays Engineering. As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for developing programs for new assemblies using offline CAD DTPS software, identifying and resolving faults, and collaborating with the Engineering Manager to improve processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop programs for new assemblies using offline CAD DTPS software
  • Identify and resolve faults in existing programs
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to improve processes and reduce cycle times
  • Assist with testing of new products and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for build processes
  • Conduct Lean/5s projects to improve efficiency and productivity
Requirements
  • 3rd level qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering or similar previous CAD experience
  • Desirable criteria: previous exposure to an engineering environment, previous experience in welding/welding processes, and leadership experience
