About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Kidderminster. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production machinery and facilities across two sites, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing PPM schedules to prevent equipment failure
  • Fault-finding and repairing PLC-controlled production machinery
  • Providing technical support to the manufacturing team
  • Carrying out reactive maintenance to minimize production downtime
  • Maintaining facilities, including installation of new production machinery when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer
  • Proven track record of working to PPM schedules
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems
  • PLC fault-finding experience
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
