Merchandise Manager Assistant

We are looking for a talented Merchandise Manager Assistant to support our Merchandise Team at Lidl Wholesale Ltd. In this role, you will play a critical part in the procurement process, working closely with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms of sale. You will also be responsible for managing inventory levels to ensure that our stores always have the right products in stock.
Your key responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, maintaining stock levels, negotiating prices and transportation arrangements, and selecting merchandise for resale. To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Experience in buying, negotiation, and pricing is highly valued.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the retail industry, including product knowledge and supplier relationships. They will also be proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on experience. The role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
