Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Develop and own unit verification environments, including testbench components, tests, stimulus, checkers, and functional coverage.
  • Investigate test failures and debug complex technical issues that may cross team boundaries.
  • Work with project leads and team members to plan, prioritize, track, and coordinate tasks to meet quality goals.
  • Contribute to verification improvement activities across the CPU group and the wider Arm verification community.
Requirements
  • Experience with simulation-based verification using languages like SystemVerilog or VHDL, and methodologies like UVM.
  • Software development skills to write flexible, maintainable code in an object-oriented language.
  • Ability to apply complex specification detail and resolve ambiguities.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and debugging.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a practical, result-focused approach.
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with assembly language (preferably Arm).
  • Understanding of computer architecture fundamentals, such as pipelining, exception handling, and memory systems.
  • Python or C++ programming experience, or experience with Continuous Integration flows using tools like Jenkins.
