Youth Leadership Programme Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Youth Worker to join our Community Services Team as a Relief/Bank staff member.

Motivation, Inspiration, Knowledge, and Education (MIKE) is a youth leadership programme run by Jewish Care that empowers young people to become leaders in the community.

This part-time opportunity involves delivering and developing the MIKE programme to participants, with a focus on supporting the leadership training and related activities.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in leadership or youth work, experience working with young people, and knowledge of the Jewish community across all levels of observance.

The role requires enthusiasm, motivating qualities, and a passion for working with young people and creating future leaders of the community.

You will be responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of high-quality Jewish youth programmes, supporting events and activities, and reporting any safeguarding concerns to the Programme Coordinator.

• Relevant Qualification in Leadership or Youth Work
• Experience Working with Young People
• Knowledge of the Jewish Community, Across All Levels of Observance
• Working Knowledge of General Safeguarding Best Practice

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25-30 per hour, depending on experience. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in the community.
