We are seeking a skilled HGV Customer Delivery Driver to join our team at Staffing Match - London Transport. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering white goods and electric goods to customers across East and North-East regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely complete deliveries in a 2-man crew, adhering to UK Road Law and Regulations.
  • Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed before hitting the road.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the proper representation of our company's name.
  • Secure merchandise in the lorry and wear overshoes in customers' homes, using gloves during delivery.
  • Deliver products to customers' rooms of choice and leave homes tidy, recycling packaging as needed.
  • Heavy lifting is involved, so you must be physically capable.
Requirements:
  • Hold a UK licence with a category of C1 or above.
  • Hold a valid CPC and Digital tacho card.
  • Pass a drug and alcohol test before starting.
  • Apply for a DBS/CRC before commencing work.
  • Previous experience driving 7.5t or above vehicles within the UK.
  • Able to complete heavy lifting deliveries.
  • Friendly attitude towards customers, with excellent work ethic and a desire to succeed.
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no DR, DT, TT, or IN10's accepted.
