Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Marshal - Gateman to join our client's team in Carlisle, Cumbria. As a Traffic Marshal - Gateman, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic during construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing traffic marshalling services to ensure the safety of road users and construction personnel
- Interacting with the general public in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Performing other tasks as required to support the successful delivery of construction projects
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in traffic marshalling or a related field
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours
- CSCS ticket (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
