An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Support Worker to join our team at a leading care home in the Ditchingham, Bungay area. You will be working for a reputable healthcare provider who prioritizes the well-being of individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

This care home offers a peaceful setting where residents can thrive, and we are seeking a dedicated individual to contribute to their care and support.

To be considered for this position, you must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. As a Senior Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Recognizing and facilitating the daily needs of residents
  • Conducting formal supervisions and appraisals
  • Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
  • Representing the care home's services and promoting them to relatives, prospective residents, and enquiries
  • Participating in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
  • Assessing residents' needs and ensuring continuity of care
  • Administering medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience in a care setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine desire to care for others

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £13.00 per hour and an annual salary of £24,336. This is a permanent full-time role for 36 hours a week, working through days. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive:
