We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Accountant (Service Charge - Commercial) to join our thriving property team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial management of service charge accounts within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain service charge accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare and review service charge budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Produce client statements and additional reports as required, providing timely and accurate financial information.
- Collaborate with the property management team to resolve accounts queries and ensure seamless communication.
- Liaise with external accountants on production of year-end accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- A strong educational background in accounting or finance, with a focus on commercial property management.
- Commercial service charge experience, with a proven track record of managing service charge accounts.
- Knowledge of RICS regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- An understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
