{"Job Title: Disrepair Officer

We are seeking a skilled Disrepair Officer to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for negotiating and liaising with tenants, leaseholders, and their representatives to identify areas of statutory disrepair and defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre and post-inspections to identify areas of disrepair and defects under the Housing Disrepair Protocol.
  • Prepare detailed specifications of work, risk assessments, and method statements for onsite inspections.
  • Obtain tenders and quotations from approved contractors, ensuring compliance with statutory budget and audit requirements.
  • Produce accurate photographic records to support casework in Court and assist with stock condition purposes.
  • Investigate and assist with responses to the Ombudsman service in relation to repairs and major works issues.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work immediately or at short notice.
  • Right to work in the U.K.
