Step Teachers is working with a College in the Okehampton area to find a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join their school for a 1-year Maternity Cover Long-Term Supply role. This is an exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher who is eager to make a positive impact in a forward-thinking school community.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students across various year groups.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the UK Mathematics curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic achievement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and confidence in Maths.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices across the Maths department.
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Maths Teacher at the Secondary School level.
- Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
