Job Title: Performance Test Architect

FalconSmartIT is seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Architect to join our team.

Job Type: Permanent / Contract Inside IR35

Job Location: London, UK

Insurance Domain experience is a must.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will own all service offerings involving Performance Testing and Performance Monitoring using APM tools. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing performance testing strategies using LoadRunner, NeoLoad, and Open Source tools
  • Developing and maintaining performance testing frameworks and load simulation models
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Providing expert-level guidance on performance testing and engineering best practices
  • Driving innovation and automation in performance testing solutions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 14-18 years of experience in IT with at least 10 years' experience in Performance Testing & engineering and 2-3 years exposure to Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in test consulting and strategy using LoadRunner, NeoLoad, and Open Source tools for performance testing and engineering
  • Proficiency in NFT process including Security, Accessibility, Operational Acceptance testing
  • Strong expertise in Performance Test frameworks and implementation processes
  • Knowledge in CICD solutions such as Jenkins, GitHub actions
  • Experience working with GitHub
  • Proficient in different types of performance testing (Stress, Volume, Load, etc.) to align the business requirements in Performance test models
  • Strong knowledge on profilers, APM monitoring & log analytics tools like dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Jprofiler, Splunk, Cloud native analytics tools etc.
  • Good understanding and hands-on experience of doing Performance testing in Agile environment using Continuous Integration Tools – Jenkins/Maven
  • Should have been a subject matter expert with Customer facing roles.
