The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in geology, engineering geology, environmental science, or a related subject, and a genuine interest in the field. You will be familiar with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and have a commitment to studying towards professional qualification.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, procurement, supervision, and management of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations. You will also undertake desktop study assessments, collect and analyze site data, produce detailed reports, and undertake ground gas and groundwater monitoring works and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the design, procurement, supervision, and management of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations.
  • Undertaking desktop study assessments.
  • Collecting and analyzing site data.
  • Producing detailed reports.
  • Undertaking ground gas and groundwater monitoring works and assessment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in geology, engineering geology, environmental science, or related subject.
  • Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
  • Commitment to studying towards professional qualification.
  • Strong analytical, written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle (ideally).
