About the Company

Camira is a leading textile manufacturer with a rich heritage and a commitment to innovation and sustainability. We design and manufacture environmental fabrics for the commercial, public transport, and residential sectors.

Job Purpose

To manage and grow the Camira Contract business within the A&D market in the UK by utilizing strategic marketing and promotion of the Camira Contract brand, thereby maximizing UK profitability. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver budgeted revenues on an annual basis to maximize profitability of the UK market.
  • To establish the Camira brand as the leading partner for the A&D market by promoting the Camira philosophy and brand portfolio.
  • To identify opportunities to generate sales and raise the profile of our products to ensure delivery against budgets and strategy.
  • To identify major projects for specification and collaborate with the OEM Area Business Managers to maximize profitability.
  • To build and maintain excellent relationships with interior designers to track projects and ensure that Camira is recognized at an early stage and finally specified.
  • To remain commercially aware of the UK contract interior market to inform business strategy.
  • To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements.

Requirements

  • Design degree qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the A&D market promoting commercial upholstery fabrics.
  • Clear understanding of commercial upholstery and panel fabrics, including specifications and technical requirements.
  • Proven experience in generating interest in products and brands and turning this interest into long-term business relationships with the target group.
  • Ability to carry out planning, reporting, and administration for the area of responsibility.
  • Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Software packages.

Additional Requirements

  • The role will aim to have a minimum of 10 client meetings per week.
  • There will be occasional visits to international trade fairs of up to 1-week duration.
  • Home-based role, so there is a requirement to have space to establish an office and a safe, dry place to store sample material.
  • Full driving license.
