About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Assistant Manager to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of assignments for a varied client portfolio, including resourcing the assignments, setting timescales and determining budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of advisory and compliance services to clients
  • Oversee the timely delivery of tax services, including research and analysis
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex tax problems
  • Lead and motivate junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
  • Identify opportunities to promote the business within the public practice marketplace
  • Make strategic decisions to drive business growth and improve client relationships

Requirements
  • CA / ATT / CTA qualified, part-qualified or studying
  • Proven track record of working in a supervisory role within practice
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience using Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and MS Outlook
