Job Title: Traffic Management Operative

At Go Traffic Management, we are seeking a skilled Traffic Management Operative to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of traffic management schemes for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of traffic management, including Give and Take, Priority, Stop/Go boards, Portable traffic signals, Convoy working, Road closures, Lane closures, and diversions.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safe working methods and best practice procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and method statements for works involving traffic management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and report to your line manager.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Promote a positive company image while on duty.
  • Demonstrate initiative by continually seeking ways to improve processes.
  • Assist the public by directing them through safe site lines when required.
  • Ascertain when management intervention is necessary.
Requirements:
  • Lantra 12d accreditation as a minimum TTMBC, 12d (M1, M2)
  • Lantra 12 a/b accreditation, IPV driver, and foreman advantageous
  • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings related to the works required
  • Full valid UK driving license
  • Preferable to have mechanical ability in relation to Traffic Lights
