We are seeking a dedicated SEN Classroom Support Specialist to join our team at RT Group, supporting the education and development of children with Special Educational Needs in Hertfordshire.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children aged 6-18 with a range of Special Educational Needs. As an SEN Classroom Support Specialist, you will be working closely with a Class Teacher to provide 1:1 or group support to children, helping them to reach their full potential. Your duties will include maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained, and assisting with the daily running of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to children with Special Educational Needs, promoting their inclusion and participation in learning and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude at all times, demonstrating values and behaviours consistent with the role and aligning with the expectations of the position.
  • Assist the Class Teacher with the daily running of the classroom, ensuring a smooth and efficient educational experience for all students.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained to a safe standard.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the right to work in the UK and hold a clear Enhanced DBS. You will also need to have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a commitment to supporting the education and development of children with Special Educational Needs.

Working Hours and Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a 7-hour shift, working Monday to Friday, with no weekends. You will be required to work from 8:30am to 3:30pm, with breaks throughout the day.

Salary:

The salary for this position is £80-£100 per day, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary that reflects the importance of this role in supporting the education and development of children with Special Educational Needs.
