About Recircle

Recircle is a UK-based developer of industrial rubber waste recovery and recycling technology. We are expanding our Engineering Projects team and seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Solutions Engineer.

The Role

This role requires developing efficient solutions for our uncured rubber waste processing technology, encompassing all aspects from concept ideation to operational validation.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the development of new products or improvements to existing ones.
  2. Create detailed designs and drawings of components or systems and analyse their performance using engineering principles.
  3. Develop fully detailed CAD engineering drawings and models, complete all necessary simulations, select appropriate materials and provide details for BOMs where required.
  4. Develop and conduct tests to validate designs and prototypes.
  5. Analyse test results and make necessary adjustments to improve product performance.
  6. Work with subcontractors to deliver equipment designs to specification and delivery schedules.
  7. Work with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  8. Address issues related to materials, processes, and quality control.

This role comes with an estimated salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include Enhanced Pension Contributions, Sick Pay & Maternity Pay, Ongoing Training & Development, and BUPA Health Insurance & support with vision care.
