A challenging opportunity for a detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to join the Accounting & Finance team at Page Personnel, a leading recruitment agency in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial data and create financial models to support business decision-making
• Collaborate with the Chief Management Accountant to manage and develop the management accounting functions
• Play a key role in the budget setting process, working closely with all departments to compile, analyze, and review annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Provide support for the continuous improvement of the standard setting process and calculation of overhead rates
• Control, manage, and develop the Company's fixed asset register and asset purchase systems
• Participate in the month-end and year-end close process, supporting both the financial accounting and management accounting teams
• Work with non-finance departments to ensure that processes are transacted correctly, ensuring the integrity of the financial information in the system
• Manage corporate compliance activities
• Lead and manage the Accounts Payable processes
• Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools to increase productivity
Requirements:
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with other financial software
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Ability to work collaboratively within the Accounting & Finance department
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive and good use of initiative
