We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Care Assistants in providing high-quality care to residents, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and families, promoting a culture of kindness and respect.
- S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
