Your New Role

This role involves operating machinery or equipment to assist with inspection, servicing, repair, and packing of survival suits. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Air Test and Laundry

  • Ensure all company/customer-owned assets are booked into the CSAM system on arrival.
  • Responsible for the correct routing of assets through the service facility.
  • Strip, wash, and dry assets as required.
  • Perform air tests on survival suits to ensure there are no leaks.

Major/Minor Repairs

  • Carry out patching on suits if required.
  • Prepare survival suits for major repair.
  • Carry out the gluing of suit components.

Visual and Final

  • Perform visual and final inspections of suits.
  • Responsible for accurate completion of service inspection cards.
  • Prepare stock requirements for remote sites.
  • Update the company computer system with necessary information on a daily basis.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Carry out operational tasks to Survitec standards, ensuring work is completed right first time and flagging any instances of variation or failure to meet standard.
  • Help maintain company assets by carrying out standard preparation, inspection, or maintenance tasks, following strict, detailed instructions.
  • Accurately follow mandatory work instructions, including the use of personal protective equipment where relevant, to actively safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of self and others.
  • Contribute to creating an environment where everyone in the team can live the Survitec Values.
