HSEQ Leadership Role

Location: London, United Kingdom

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum

This HSEQ Superintendent position presents an excellent opportunity to lead by example and drive positive change within a globally recognized leader in the shipping industry. With a focus on safety, quality, and environmental performance, you will play a vital role in shaping the company's HSEQ strategy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective HSEQ procedures and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal committees for incident investigation, audits, and change management.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and certification bodies.
  • Support security operations under the CSO authority, including Ship Security Plans (SSP).
  • Provide guidance on education and training for both shore staff and crew.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in HSEQ and auditing.
  • A sailing background is highly desirable.
  • Industry experience in LNG or tanker is ideal, but applicants with chemical or oil experience will be considered.
  • Mandatory qualifications include Advanced Tanker Safety Training (Gas) and internal auditor certification. ISO experience is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and risk management skills.
