About the Role:
CRA Consulting Limited is seeking a highly skilled Legal Secretary to join their team. As a Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for drafting and formatting legal documents, managing and organizing legal files, and liaising with clients and other legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Managing and organizing legal files, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Liaising with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals as necessary.
- Maintaining the lawyer's calendar and scheduling appointments, meetings, and court appearances.
- Handling telephone calls and inquiries, relaying messages accurately.
- Assisting with billing and invoicing procedures.
- Performing general office tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the legal department.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant (must have audio typing experience)
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and legal software.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
