Multimedia Technician

We are the Alton Towers Resort, part of the Merlin Entertainments Group.

As a Multimedia Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating world-class live shows and attractions, carrying out installations, maintenance, and de-rig of highly specialized audio visual systems. This role involves performing routine daily safety and operational checks and maintenance on technical systems located within our shows, attractions, and rides throughout the resort.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to utilize some of the latest technical equipment and innovations within the theme park industry.

If you have experience in one or more of the following areas: show and themed theatrical lighting systems, live audio mixing using digital desks, video systems, show control, ethernet networking, special effects, show rigging, technical equipment repair and maintenance, AV systems installation and wiring, and mains electrical systems knowledge - we would love to hear from you.
