Job Title: Mobile HGV Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Mechanic to join our team at Halo Personnel. As a Mobile HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections, routine servicing, testing, and repairs of HGV vehicles and their auxiliary equipment in a professional and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and diagnose faults, report findings, and carry out all repairs to the current manufacturers' standards.
  • Work on a variety of HGV vehicles, including tippers, tipper grabs, and beaver tails.
  • Utilize the latest diagnostic systems to identify and repair faults.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve high levels of work quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications, such as City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Class 1 (CE) or Class 2 (C) HGV License (Car License holders will also be considered).
  • Knowledge of cranes/hydraulics, and winching equipment.
  • Experience working on HGV vehicles and their auxiliary equipment.
