Medical Device Project Manager

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/ Product Development Lead to join our dedicated and collaborative team. This role is ideal for a proactive, hands-on professional with a passion for product development who is eager to work across the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Project manage an innovative new medical treatment platform, incorporating planning, specification, design, verification, validation, and transfer to manufacture.
- Effectively lead a product development project team ensuring good cross-functional communications and alignment to ensure timely completion of the project.
- Generate and implement project plans, communications, and schedules to assist with task prioritization and escalation.
- Manage individual project challenges, risks, and recommend solutions to address them.
- Ensure all project deliverables are in compliance with Emblation's QMS and documentation, ensuring deliverables are comprehensively met.
- Management of internal and external resources including suppliers, subcontractors, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing.
- Maintaining effective communication with senior management, customers, and the project team through oral and written correspondence ensuring adequate documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Electronics related subject or equivalent experience in product development project management.
- Proven track record in a product development environment (ideally on a medical device).
- Demonstrated project management experience leading teams and managing project scope, schedule, and ideally budget.
- The candidate will have a passionate attitude to champion the project, work across departments, and actively drive the project from initiation to completion.
- Experience of working within the Medical Devices (preferred), pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated sectors are highly desirable, as is a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and IEC 60601.
- Formally Project Management trained, such as Prince 2 Practitioner or PMP qualified.
