Financial Analyst

Williams Racing is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join its Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in managing financial analysis and reporting to support the team's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation.
• Analyse financial statements, interpret key ratios, and use these insights to guide decision-making.
• Learn and apply risk management strategies, including those for credit, market, and operational risks.
• Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and implement risk mitigation measures.
• Utilise Excel for detailed financial analysis, data manipulation, and reporting.
• Gain skills in programming languages such as Python or R to enhance data analysis and automate processes.
• Acquire knowledge in capital structure, cost of capital, and capital budgeting to support financial decision-making.
• Understand ethical considerations in finance and become familiar with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to industry standards.

Requirements:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with financial software and tools, and experience with advanced Excel functions.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
