Consortium Professional Recruitment is seeking a Senior Drafter - Mechanical Engineering to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and manufacturing teams by creating accurate drawings and contributing to product development.
Key Responsibilities:- Create mechanical designs using SolidWorks.
- Develop detailed drawings and technical documentation for fabrication and manufacturing.
- Convert 3D models into production-ready drawings and bills of materials.
- Support production teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with SolidWorks and mechanical design principles.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, including fabrication and assembly.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- £32,500 per annum (based on experience).
- Free parking available.
