Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commodity Manager to join our team in Ipswich. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing global supply chain strategies for assigned commodities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a global Supply Chain related role, with strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the execution of global supply chain strategies that support Crane objectives for cost reduction, supplier OTD and lead-times, supplier Quality and inventory reduction.
  • Maintain awareness of world markets and emerging material related issues in the industry.
  • Leverage supplier capabilities in product design, cost reduction, lead time reduction and customer satisfaction.
