Job Overview

A Clinical Neurophysiology Specialist is required to contribute to the EEG video-telemetry service and reporting of sleep studies at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

The postholder will work closely with multidisciplinary teams dealing with epilepsy and sleep disorders in the trust and as part of the Children's Epilepsy Surgery Network (CESS).

Main Duties

The principal duties of the postholder will be to contribute to the running of the diagnostic EEG, paediatric and adult epilepsy (including pre-surgical evaluation), sleep disorders in adults and children.

The postholder will be required to participate in the urgent adult and paediatric neurophysiology rota, which provides an in-hours weekday service, and provides cover during colleagues' leave of absence.
