Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain records of financial transactions
- Maintain accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions
- Perform reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger
- Prepare trial balances
- Preparing financial reports
- Monitoring for variances from the projected budget
- Assisting in running payroll
- Assisting in generating sales invoices
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and staff
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with payroll processing and management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team
