Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Mace as a Water Project Lead, working on the delivery of projects that support the water industry's most challenging programmes and projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing small to medium-sized projects, ensuring quality systems are suitably managed, and delivering project plans from inception to completion. This includes managing tasks and associated deliverables, collaborating with stakeholders, and promoting Mace's values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets and highlight any risks, challenges, and mitigations.
  • SUPPORT THE LONG-TERM DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR FUNCTION OR BUSINESS UNIT (BU), CREATING A SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS FUTURE.
  • DELIVER PROJECT OBJECTIVES IN LINE WITH THE PROJECT PLAN, LEADS AND SUPERVISES THE PROJECT TEAM/S AND RELEVANT STAKEHOLDERS TO ACHIEVE THE PROJECT KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs).
  • MANGE DESIGN AND WIDER CONSULTANT TEAMS IN A COLLABORATIVE MANNER TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE COMPLETION OF RESPONSIBILITIES.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in project management, managing small to medium-sized projects.
  • Developed communication, presentation, and project planning and development skills (using appropriate tools).
  • Developing budgetary oversight expertise.
  • Advanced proficiency in communicating, coordinating activities, and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Proven understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
  • Display strong communication and negotiation skills to support the client/customer focus.
  • Proactively manage internal budgets and fees (where appropriate), delivering agreed outcomes.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
