Domestic Gas Heating Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Domestic Gas Heating Engineer to join our team at Drummond Heating Ltd. As a well-rounded engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and installing heating systems, including gas, and increasingly renewable technologies such as heat pumps.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintain, and install heating systems, including gas and renewable technologies
  • Work on a diverse range of domestic clients in Hampshire, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of heating systems, including gas, oil, and renewable technologies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless project delivery and excellent customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in installing full domestic central heating systems, breakdowns, servicing, and maintenance
  • Current domestic gas certificates, including CCN1 (including CPA1) - Core Gas Safety, CENWAT1 – Central Heating Boilers, CKR1 – Cookers & HTR1 – Fires
  • Unvented Hot Water Cylinder qualifications and experience
  • Heat Pump and LPG qualification and experience highly desired
  • Knowledge and experience in renewables highly desired, specifically Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential
