Process Plant Engineer

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Process Plant Engineer - Apprentice to join our team at NES Fircroft. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to gain hands-on experience in instrumentation maintenance and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Bacton Terminal, ensuring maximum plant availability.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance, minimizing impact on production.
  • Complete weekly maintenance routines in Maximo.

Safety Procedures:

  • Familiarity with shutdown/ blowdown valves and extinguishant systems.
  • Knowledge of fire & gas systems, hardware, operation and testing.
  • Experience with fixed & portable analysers.

Education and Certifications:

  • Completed time served trade apprenticeship.
  • HNC qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Compex certification or successful completion during probationary period.
