Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Sister in this role, you will have the responsibility for:

  • Providing expert care of a high standard to critically ill and stable babies and their parents/carers
  • Assisting in the leadership and development of an identified group of nurses within the Unit
  • Acting as a clinical resource and link nurse within the Unit and across the Care Group as necessary
  • Evidence of clinical expertise, relevant to the area
  • Previous experience of leading change in the clinical environment

You will also be required to evidence sound knowledge and ability to implement Trust's safeguarding/child protection policies and procedures, possess strong communication skills, team building and working skills, and mentorship programme or equivalent teaching qualification.
