Transportation Specialist

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transportation Specialist to join our team at Sierra in Paignton. As a key member of our Transport division, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers across the UK in a timely and efficient manner.

About the Role:

• To report directly to the Transport Manager and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• To operate within the law at all times and ensure the security of the Company vehicle at all times.
• To drive in accordance with the law and drive in a safe and courteous manner at all times.
• To have the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and changing environment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• To ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Company policy and procedures.
• To have a good knowledge of the Road Transport Directive (RTD) for the purpose of working time.
• To be able to demonstrate compliance by evidence of a low infringement record.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A good standard of literacy and numeracy in order to fulfil the role.
• A valid Driving licence HGV Class 2, DQC, Driver card.
• Geographical knowledge of the UK.
