**Metalwork Specialist Wanted in Sheffield**

Workforce Staffing Ltd is seeking a skilled Metalwork Specialist to join their team in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication and MIG welding, specifically with materials ranging from 10mm to 50mm thickness.

As a Metalwork Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and assembling metal components using MIG welding techniques. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that all projects are completed to specification and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, fabricate, and assemble metal components using MIG welding techniques.
  • Work with materials ranging from 10mm to 50mm in thickness, ensuring high-quality welds and structural integrity.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
  • Prepare and cut materials to precise dimensions using appropriate tools and machinery.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plater Welder Fabricator or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding techniques with materials ranging from 10mm to 50mm.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and equipment.
