Payroll Executive Job Description

Antony James Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Payroll Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all aspects of payroll, including BACS operations and ensuring deadlines are met. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the team with first-line payroll checks, ensuring payroll calculations are technically compliant and input accurately.
• Processing pensions, sick pay, and holiday pay.
• Assisting with ad-hoc duties, queries from clients, colleagues, and HMRC.
• Supporting the Payroll Bureau Manager on a monthly basis to ensure all client and statutory requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will have experience of end-to-end payroll preparation, high-volume payrolls, and statutory deductions, including pensions and auto-enrolment. Proficiency in Excel, running and reconciling reports, and importing CSV data files is also essential.
