About The Role
At EKFB, we're shaping the future of infrastructure. As a Structures Design Manager, you'll play a crucial role in managing all aspects of structures design delivery, ensuring seamless collaboration between our Construction team, TW design, and HS2. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing constructability reports, managing technical queries, and escalating issues to the line manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage structures design delivery, ensuring alignment with construction methodology and sequence.
- Develop and implement constructability reports, integrating best practices into the project.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and opportunities, escalating concerns to the line manager.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain to resolve technical queries and design-related issues.
- Embed Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) principles, supporting organizational initiatives and policies.
About You
- Degree-level qualification in civil engineering or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in bridge design coordination.
- Knowledge of HS2 Act, Civil Engineering regulations (e.g., Eurocodes 2, British Standards).
- Knowledge of the CDM Principal Designer role.
- Excellent communication skills.
